How it really works
What kind of products does Capsum manufacture?
We manufacture skincare (face / body / scalp treatment), makeup (mainly face and lips), and water-based fragrances. We develop both microfluidic formulas with our proprietary technology and classic emulsions with a superior skin feel.
What services does Capsum offer?
We are a full service contract manufacturer, from concept ideation to formula conception to finished good delivery. We can supply the packaging in full turnkey mode, or offer semi turnkey: bulk manufacturing, filling, assembly only. We do not sell bulk, only finished goods.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Depending on the formulation technologies, product size, and packaging type, our MOQs vary from 10,000 units to 25,000 units.
Does Capsum propose white/private label products?
We do.
Is microfluidic technology affordable for mass market?
We have some mass market brands as clients. Volume then becomes the key trigger for competitive pricing.
Can Capsum develop and manufacture SPF & OTC products for you?
Unfortunately no.
Can Capsum develop and manufacture organic products?
We do not manufacture organic products but we can do high level of naturality (ISO 16128), Ewg skin deep score, Yuka ranking of ingredients, Clean at Sephora formulas, Leaping Bunny, RSPO, etc...
How long are your development lead times?
Our average is about 12 months, but this can vary from a 9-month fast-track development under clear conditions to more than 24 months for a new technology development.
What are the costs involved in a project?
Let's talk. We do not charge for formula development if the number of iterations remains reasonable, we charge pilot fees, tooling fees, line trial fees, as well as some specific services such as SDS / MSDS requirements, etc...
Could we supply just the capsules?
It's a frequently asked question. The answer is NO, we do not sell bulk nor capsules alone.
